So, I've been thinking about the feedback from today...
I have an idea to fix it... In the first instance, I'm gonna extend the ending to include product placement... I'll post an updated version soon.

Wii Ad 'All Play' - Render for VIVA
I've decided this is the render I'll use for VIVA tomorrow.
On a side note, why doesn't my Final Cut 7.03 at home have the Bloom video effect? Very annoying... it seems the computers at Uni don't have the font that Nintendo uses while at home I do, yet at home I don't have the effect. Jeez.

Wk13 Wii Two ii's shot
So, the idea here is that after the various shots of the Wii, it will pan out and be used in the spelling of 'Wii'... I'm feeling hopeful that this might just work... I still need to reshoot some of the Wii surface pans.

Wk11 Nuke/FCP Wii Jitter Removal
Using the footage from the bungie shoot, I've made a rough edit of the 'top-down' shot.

Wk11 Bungie Shooting
This was an interesting method of shooting... I'd decided to hang the camera from two jockey-straps to see what kind of movement I would get if I shot the wii in such fly-bys... it wasn't half bad. This will be perfect for shooting the shot where it goes across the side and then up to a top-down shot.

Wk11 Dell Reflection
I was laying in bed today when I noticed this reflection on the wall behind my monitor. Very cool.

Wk9 New Slider Issues & couldn't shoot Wii
OK, so a number of issues have arisen with the latest shoot:
- Camera is still too heavy
- Fruit goes bad waaaay too quickly
- The pipe flexes with weight and thus changes its sliding capability
In the end, it was better to attempt to mount the camera and try to slide the fruit underneath it using the following setup:
It was 5:30 am when I gave up. There was no way I could have included a new shoot for the Wii as well. Sooo disappointing. But maybe I have some useful footage. Maybe. :(

3.01 seconds = 8 hours effort
I have 3.01 seconds of new footage at the end of my 'ad'. It only took 5 hours of setup/shooting and another 3 hours editing.
It was a convoluted setup:

Prototype - Wii Ad
I needed to choose something that I could be in control of and didn't have the logistical issues that my other chosen topics had... thus putting together my Wii...
I'm working to make an even faster/punchier version of this video but so far it seems to lose the impact when the actions are so fast.
